A ceremony for new employees is being held at the Manpo Shoji.

All employees are supposed to attend it, but no one from GA 2 can be seen. The truth is, 3 months ago, Terasaki (Katsumi Takahashi) and Nonomura (Toshihito Ito) of the personnel department managed to transfer the members of GA 2 temporarily to the affiliated companies.

Azusa Tokunaga (Keiko Toda) is now working as a caddie in a golf course; Ume Maruhashi (Mai Hosho) is a shop clerk of a fast food restaurant; Kana Miyashita (Junko Sakurai) takes care of the garden
of the company's guest house; Sawako Tsukahara (Kotomi Kyono) performs for children in a stuffed animal's costume on the roof garden of a department store; Rie Himukai (Yumiko Takahashi) works as a fortune teller at a bridal salon; and Chinatsu Tsuboi (Makiko Esumi) works energetically in a fishing port.

Inoue (Reo Morimoto), the helpless section chief and only man of GA 2 has been transferred to another section and decides to apply for the voluntary retirement system. Prior to his retirement, he visits each of his staff from GA 2.

Chinatsu is the last person Inoue visits. He tells her how it has been at the Manpo Shoji. The company tries to rationalise itself by cutting down expenses. The monitor cameras watch over the employees all the time. Hence, everyone has become suspicious of one another as the slightest mistake could be an excuse for a negative evaluation.

Chinatsu, like the other 5 members, doesn't seem to care much about the company's future, but something Inoue says strikes her. She gathers the rest of the GA 2 to return to the Manpo Shoji! Of course, Terasaki and Nonomura of the personnel department try to get rid of them again, but we all know... the Power lies with these extraordinary Office Girls!
